Location: No. 20, Lafulan Road, Lafulan Village, Taoyuan Township, Kaohsiung County (Situated at Zhangshan Village of Taoyuan Township, near Meishankou, at marker 107 km of Taiwan Provincial Highway No. 20.)
Lafulan Village has an aboriginal arts atmosphere. Along both sides of the Southern Cross-Island Highway, one will pass houses decorated with totems of the Bunun Tribe. Walking about the village, one will see traditional wood and stone carving in progress and meet friendly villagers. The Lafulan community started several years ago as an effort to promote Bunun arts and foster traditional handicraft skills, such as traditional weaving, wood and stone carving, pottery creation, and other arts. When the community is finished, it will include cultural performances, such as the manah tainga (Hunting Festival) of the Bunun Tribe at this site.
