Try out our new highway bus tours this summer! Promoting the 2020 Year of Mountain Tourism together with the Tourism Bureau, MOTC, Taiwan Tourist Shuttle launched “Shenshan Route” on August 8 as Pingtung County’s first “cruise bus.” The bus departs from Pingtung Bus Terminal, stopping by indigenous attractions and regions such as Guchuan Bridge, Shenshan, Wutai, and Rinari. Visitors can feel free exploring the “big white snake” (a suspension bridge) crouching across Yiliao River, the nest of the Moon God, and the home of the “king of hunters” before going back to Rinari at the tour’s end. Professional guides will accompany the passengers all along the way. The fare is NT$849 per person - lunch included. Chien Ching-fa, head of Maolin National Scenic Area Administration, especially showed support for the new route / tour. Chien noted that the administration has prepared small gifts for those who take part, and every month there is a special surprise for visitors until the end of 2020.
