Maolin National Scenic Area Administration recently launched its "Roaming in The Mountain City of Liugui to Get Gifts" and "Roaming in the Mountain City of Liugui to Get More Prizes" events to attract visitors to Baolai and Pulao Hot Spring, places where local residents habitually enjoy hot spring baths during the hot summer months. In addition to enjoying the hot spring, visitors can also pre-arrange tours to visit scenic spots in neighboring areas and enjoy a fun summer in the mountains.
Hot spring business owners and homestays in the Baolai and Pulao hot spring areas are cooperating to promote the "Roaming in the Mountain City of Liugui to Get Gifts" event. Visitors who make purchases, spend the night or enjoy the hot spring at 10 designated participating shops and hot spring outlets are eligible to receive good health gifts: hot spring offers, free DIY local tours and special souvenirs with mountain city features after experiencing a local tour. However, only a limited number of gifts are available, so visitors should make appointments while gifts last.
Ke Jian-Sing, director of Maolin National Scenic Area Administration, said that in order to encourage off-season visitors to go to the Bolai and Pulao Hot Spring in the Liugui District of Kaohsiung City, the "Roaming in the Mountain City of Liugui to Get Gifts" and "Roaming in the Mountain City of Liugui to Get More Prizes" events are open to anyone who makes a purchase. Eligible visitors can enjoy beautiful hot spring, take gifts home with them and have a chance to take part in a grand prize draw.
