    Meilunshan Trail

The trail entrance is right beside the Ciyou Temple in the Bulao Hot Spring Area of Liugui. Spanning across a distance of 5.7 kilometers, the first 4 kilometers of the trail is part of an industrial pathway for the forestry sector and features two observatories, a tea factory, a tea plantation, and a plum garden along the way. The two observatories, sitting at the 1km and 2km mark of the trail, respectively, are where visitors can take a quick break and enjoy the full view of the Bulao Hot Spring Area, the Laonong River, and mountains surrounding the region.

Visitors can appreciate the blossoming tea plants and plum trees alongside the trail during the blooming season, while immersing themselves in the pleasant floral scent. The area is also a great place to visit during weekends. Visitors can opt for a quick hike on the trail and take a hot spring bath afterward to relieve stress.

It takes four and a half hours to walk through the trail and head back to the starting point, so those not confident in their stamina can turn back after reaching the tea plantation.

Twelve kilometers back and forth, a gentle A-level hiking route.

In March and April, many blood vines can be seen blooming.

The first 3.7km is a slow industrial road, 3.7-5.6km is a dirt road with fallen trees, there are climbing cloth strips along the road, the path is clear, the roadbed after the rain is relatively slippery near the last 0.5km, and it is generally easy to walk. It takes about 4-4.5 hours to go back and forth up and down the mountain. During the Qingming holiday, I met 8 groups of people.

There is a semi-collapsed roadbed ahead, so be careful when passing by.

It is not recommended to go during construction and maintenance
