Take off Your Shoes at Haocha

好茶部落

“Kucapungane,” meaning “descendants of clouded leopards”

After moving to this new site, we decided that Haocha would be “a tribe where one must take off his or her shoes,” because taking off shoes to us symbolizes our respect to families and affection to land. In a way it also reflects an unspoken consensus among members of this new big family of Rinari. We just want to share aspects of our everyday life to our visitors, because we have relocated twice due to policies and typhoons in the recent years. We worked hard to keep our traditions despite the circumstances. Now that we have regained our strengths, we hope to invite each and every of you to be our family members. Please take off your shoes as you enter our tribe, and enjoy good food and fun activities with your host family at our new place, Rinari.
