It can only be said that human imagination is really rich. Looking down from the gazebo on the trail, you can see the mountain that looks like a hundred-step snake head. In addition to Snakehead Mountain, there is also a Longtou Mountain. It is a pity that it is the dry season and the riverbed is dry. If the river has water, I think the scenery will be more beautiful.

Snakehead Mountain is located on the only way to Donali. It looks like a hundred-step snake and occupies the side of Zhuokou River. 12km from Highway 132 of the Township Road. Snakehead Mountain is a typical meandering terrain. It was originally a ring hill, but because the accumulation of earth and rocks on the slippery ground healed and connected with the hill behind Snakehead, it formed an appearance resembling a hundred-step snake entrenched in Zhuokou Creek, so it was named It is called Baibu Snakehead Mountain. However, under the continuous scouring and cutting action of the river water, the snake's neck may also be cut off to form a "circulation mound" again. Baibu Snakehead Mountain is also regarded as a holy mountain to protect the tribe, and it is also one of the most famous scenic spots in the Maolin area. According to legend, in the long past, there was a female snake with two young snakes looking for food here. When the mother snake heard the sound of the rapids of the river, she thought it was a heavy rain coming from a high mountain and was about to bring mountain torrents, so she called her children to climb up the tree. He took refuge, and asked them to close their eyes and concentrate on reciting the mantra silently, hoping that their son and daughter would turn into eagles and purple butterflies respectively to escape the disaster. This legend is completely in line with the local natural landscape, and is full of logic and interest, so the narrator often uses it as a guide. ======================= Zhuokou Creek runs through the lush forests. In addition to the high mountain scenery, it also creates special terrain and geology such as waterfalls, canyons, and rich animal and plant landscapes. Longtou Mountain and Snakehead Mountain are the circulation hills. The formation of Shetou Mountain is different from that of Longtou Mountain. The accumulation of earth and rocks on the land where it slipped away is connected with the hills behind Shetou, forming today's landform that resembles a hundred-step Shetou, and it is separated from Longtou Mountain on both sides to reflect each other. The separation of the dragon's head and the dragon's ridge seen in Longtoushan is the result of deliberately blasting to change the direction of the water flow during the Japanese occupation period to facilitate the transportation of local residents. This natural spectacle, which looks like a giant dragon spitting out beads, is caused by meandering currents and circulation mounds. Looking down from a height, it looks like a giant dragon entrenched in a valley, and the scenery is very spectacular. Longtou Mountain, Snakehead Mountain and Guixing Mountain are even more named together, becoming the three famous mountains in Maolin.
