The Central Weather Bureau issued a warning against cold weather on January 1, 2018 that “on the 9th, in the open coastal fields of central Taiwan and up north (including northeastern Taiwan), temperature might drop to 10 Celsius degrees. From the 9th to the 11th, in the open coastal fields of Tainan and places up north, as well as Kinmen and Matsu, temperature will also likely go down to 10 Celsius degrees.”
