To expand the network of tourism resources for national scenic areas in southern Taiwan, the four such areas under the Tourism Bureau, Ministry of Transport and Communications established partnership among themselves recently. As the four areas can be visited at once by way of National Freeway 3, Provincial Highway 3, and Expressway 84, a plan called “3384” was initiated to give special offers to visitors in promotion of the areas.
The Maolin National Scenic Area Administration therefore takes “enjoy a full year of good luck and butterflies” as a promotional theme, wishing visitors wealth, good health, romantic love, a prosperous business or career, and blessings. At the Maolin Purple Crow Butterfly Ecological Park, a Rukai butterfly conservation market is open, with adventure games held. By clocking in at any of the info points, discounts are offered. All members of the public are cordially invited to spend a happy New Year vacation at Maolin.
