Flavors of Indigenous Homelands Half-Day Trips Route A

This plan aims to provide tourists with an experience in the beauty and rhythm of Indigenous songs and dances. Inspired by their surroundings, tourists will also experience for the first time the amazing welcome salute of the indigenous style cannons. Through songs, dances and artwork, the culture and spirit of Taiwan’s Indigenous people will become evident.

  • Taiwan Aboriginal Culture Park
    Taiwan Aboriginal Culture Park

    The Taiwan Indigenous Peoples Cultural Park can be found in Beiye Village of Majia Township in Pingtung. Formerly the Majia Cultural Village, the Cultural Park was established in 1985 and covers an area of 82 hectares, where Paiwan and Lukai communities can be found in the adjacency. The Cultural Park aims to present and preserve Taiwan’s indigenous culture and is said to be the largest outdoor indigenous museum presenting the greatest research value in Taiwan.

  • Zhongshan Park
    Zhongshan Park

    Zhongshan Park is located across the Sandimen Township Office, right at where a martyrs’ shrine used to be in the Japanese colonial era. The shrine complex was transformed into a park after Taiwan’s retrocession and is now a must-see for those visiting Sandimen for the first time.
