Dancing Purple Butterflies and Rivers Running Around
Maolin lies at the Zhuokou River running across the area on the Mali Mountain of the Central Mountain Range. In the scenic area there are views of towering mountains, waterfalls, canyons, rich fauna and flora, and special geological formations. It is a place great for mountaineering, sightseeing, river trekking, butterfly watching, nature and ecological observations and leisure activities. While the Drekay is one of the major indigenous groups in Maolin, the unit stone house, elaborate traditional craft arts, towering and splendid suspension bridges and all kinds of festive rituals are worthy of travel.
