    Duona Tribe

Duona Tribe is a combination of several small tribes. It retains much indigenous Rukai culture. Stone-plate houses and traditional totems and stone carvings can be found here and there.

On the tribe’s main street are the demonstrations of two black dogs leading early settlers to Duona. At the end of a wall of statues, there is a platform for head-hunting rites, a platform for calling warriors, and a warriors’ path. One can easily imagine early hunting and battling scenes.
