The Sandimen Arts & Crafts Trail is located on Section 1 of Zhongzheng Road in Sandimen Township. The trail was built together by Sandimen residents in 2002; it contains 1212 clay tiles painted by youngsters and elders from the township. Starting from the Er-Ge Handcraft Studio and spanning across 453 meters, the trail passes through major beads, clay, and textile art studios of the local indigenous tribe, including the Dragonfly Beads Art studio, Er-Ge Handcraft Studio, and Shataowu Beads Art Center. Said studios present the effort by the locals to integrate traditional crafts into modern daily life, so they can be known and loved by more people. Visitors can try making craftwork themselves, which can serve as a reminder of the wonderful trip they had.
