Located on Pingtung's Provincial Route 185, the Liang-Shan Recreational Area is a natural paradise. Its flowing river cools down the summer heat, while visitors enjoy aromatic coffee next to its majestic waterfall. Hiking enthusiasts can also embark on the hiking trail and enjoy Mother Nature's scenic and serene atmosphere. A few campsites are found next to the hunter's huts in this spacious area, where families can truly relax and enjoy the tranquility of nature. Starting from the entrance, those who love taking pictures will be kept busy by photo spots such as the Hobbiton village, fishpond, and the goats, while family travelers can enjoy the waterfall. The relaxing hike should take no more than one hour and makes for an ideal weekend getaway.

Linali Village can be found in Majia Township of Pingtung. The community is surrounded by forests and mountains and offers a great view of the picturesque Pingbei Plain.
The community’s name implies the idea of people walking shoulder-to-shoulder in the same direction. It was selected as the relocation destination for indigenous tribes from Dashe Village of Sandimen Township, Majia Village of Majia Township, and Haocha Village of Wutai Township after the devastation caused by Typhoon Morakot in 2009. Thanks to the government and World Vision International, which worked together to offer permanent housing, the indigenous rebuilt their homeland in Linali Village and started a new life together.
Wandering on the tribal ground, visitors might notice churches sitting at the four corners of the community, each boasting a unique exterior design. The cluster of churches is a major feature of the community, and they reflect the indigenous people's devotion. If visitors go on to explore the community, they will see indigenous craftworks dotting around the tribal ground. There are lily-themed arts that imply rarity and Deinagkistrodon totems that symbolize the origin of the indigenous culture.

Taiwan Indigenous Peoples Cultural Park 14:30~17:00
The Taiwan Indigenous Peoples Cultural Park can be found in Beiye Village of Majia Township in Pingtung. Formerly the Majia Cultural Village, the Cultural Park was established in 1985 and covers an area of 82 hectares, where Paiwan and Lukai communities can be found in the adjacency. The Cultural Park aims to present and preserve Taiwan’s indigenous culture and is said to be the largest outdoor indigenous museum presenting the greatest research value in Taiwan.
Spanning across 145 to 220 meters above sea level, the Cultural Park features rugged terrains and diverse landscapes. It is divided into four main areas: the Greeting Area, the Tamaluwan Area, the Naluwan Area, and the Fuguwan Area. Tamaluwan and Fuguwan are two areas where traditional indigenous architecture and the full view of tribal life are on display. The Naluwan Area is where visitors can enjoy dynamic performances. The place features performance halls, an amphitheater, and a museum home to sculptures of ten indigenous tribes. There is also a place where people can participate in DIY workshops to make indigenous handicrafts.
