Maolin National Scenic Area Headquarters and the Tourism Administration, MOTC established the Kaohsiung Destination Marketing Organization to promote tourism marketing for 38 districts in Kaohsiung and three townships of northern Pingtung. Specialty products such as tea, coffee, and souvenirs are showcased at the "2023 Taiwan International Tea, Coffee & Food Industry Show" in Hall 1, Nangang Exhibition Center, Taipei.
Maolin National Scenic Area Headquarters notes that Kaohsiung Destination Marketing Organization covers the Kaohsiung metropolitan area and indigenous areas in the foothills of Kaoping Mountain, with unique cafes and teahouses playing an important role in ensuring tourists enjoy their time here.
Examples include "Shoreline Coffee & Roaster" café in Kaohsiung lighthouse, "94 Fresh Baking Coffee" with special flavors from different countries and "8deroad Cafe" in an old renovated building in Kaohsiung Railway Station renovation area. "Cemel Flower and Seeds" combines plant aromas and coffee to showcase the essence of Wutai Township in Pingtung County, and "Viken Tea House" offers exquisite teas in Kaohsiung City. In addition, abundant produce is another hallmark of Kaohsiung Destination Marketing Organization. The Qishan District Tangchang Community Development Association offers "Banana Flower Lemon Coffee" with banana flower stamen pollen, giving new life to traditional agriculture; there are also Taiwan's native tea producers who engage in natural farming and hand-made methods: Xin Yuan Tea Factory, Liugui Mountain Tea Story House, Baoshan Napu Native Tea Organic Tea Farm etc. attended the event.
